By Multimedia On this episode of ID the Future, we feature a short clip from The Biology of the Baroque: The Mystery of Non-Adaptive Order. This documentary is based on a novel and incisive argument from Discovery Institute biologist Michael Denton, in his new book, Evolution: Still a Theory in Crisis. Evolutionists have good reason for demanding that we avert our eyes from biology’s delicate artfulness. None of that, after all, is explicable in light of the Darwinian theory that natural selection retains only what is useful from a “technical standpoint” of reproductive success. In the book and the video,

By Ken Ham Rainer believes that “church security” will become “the fastest growing ministry.” Sadly, this is probably already a major trend. Due to the sinful nature of fallen man, security is needed more than ever in our churches because of previous incidents and an increasing animosity towards the church (and a growing general lawlessness within the culture). As our society turns farther away from the morality grounded in God’s Word, security, even in churches, will become more important. Indeed, Christians are being increasingly looked on as the enemy in the Western world. Rainer also notes that the need for

By Ken Ham The Creation Museum has seen more than 2.5 million visitors since opening (more than we initially projected). Extensive research has shown that we can expect the Ark Encounter to attract a minimum of 1.4 million guests (with some projections of around two million annually) in the first year alone, and that will increase the museum attendance. We expect the Creation Museum attendance possibly to double after the opening of the Ark. We’re actually planning to expand the Creation Museum to accommodate even more guests with additional parking and more exhibit space. Many of you probably saw …read

By Ken Ham According to Christianity Today, there are several reasons for the drop in abortion rates. One reason is growing ultrasound technology. The idea of “clumps of tissue” just doesn’t match with an ultrasound picture that clearly shows a baby! Pro-life clinics report that ultrasound machines save the lives of thousands of babies each year. Seventy to ninety percent of women who see their unborn children in an ultrasound choose life for their babies. Pro-life groups and legislators have also been working to pass …read more Read more here: Ken Ham AIG

By Ken Ham This is clearly what’s called a “rescuing device.” According to evolutionary ideas, Earth isn’t special. Its just one planet out of millions, and it just happened to have the right conditions for life to form spontaneously. Since there’s nothing special about Earth, there should be hundreds or thousands of other planets that also allow just the right conditions for life. The problem? Well, scientists have found hundreds of other planets orbiting other stars, yet not one is suited for life. And despite years of research and millions of research dollars, not a single shred of solid …read

By Ken Ham Well, this isn’t just happening here in America. We’re seeing this occur all across the West. Recently in Canada, the government of the province of Alberta issued new guidelines for all public schools to help create “learning environments” that were more inclusive and that “respect diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.” Here is just a sampling of some of these new guidelines and how the government expects them to play out in everyday life in schools: No dividing students, or even class lists, by girls and boys, “When creating student/staff lists, school staff ensure …read

By Ken Ham Well, I recently headed down to the Ark site for a tour with my wife, Mally, my daughter Kristel, staff member Avery Foley and her husband, Trevor. While we were there, I recorded a live video update on the progress with the Ark. I took people for a walk up the ramps through all three decks and even the roof deck (which will eventually become a fine-dining restaurant with an incredible view). By Ken Ham As you read the article, also note the importance of this case in regard to another aspect of religious freedom—the right for a Christian organization to hire Christians to work for them (just as an atheist organization would want to hire people who agree with their worldview). The federal court last month upheld AiG’s right to religious preferences in hiring. The judge declared that AiG may “utilize any Title VII exception for which it qualifies concerning the hiring of its personnel” as a religious organization under the …read more Read more here: Ken Ham AIG
