By Ken Ham A woman in Tennessee gave birth recently to Emma, a baby girl who was frozen as an embryo in 1992—when the woman who gave birth to her was just a toddler. Reportedly Emma is now a record-holder for the “longest-frozen embryo to come to birth.” Dr. Jeffery Keenan, the director of National Embryo Donation Center, a faith-based center that helps people adopt embryos, said, “We hope this story is a clarion call to all couples who have embryos in long-term storage to consider this life-affirming option for their embryos.” Emma’s story highlights the truth that embryos are

By Ken Ham Should we abandon the idea of lifelong, monogamous marriage? That was the question asked in a recent article in New Scientist by Jessica Bond, who argues that, because we’re not very good at monogamy, perhaps it’s time to make “consensual non-monogamous” relationships—in which partners have multiple sexual relationships, but everyone involved knows about it—a norm in our society. This argument flows from her naturalistic evolutionary worldview (and the relative morality that comes out of such a belief). She argues that monogamy is a relatively recent development in our evolutionary ancestry and that, in the past, our supposed

Marketing research group Glocalities conducted a 24-country survey about people’s belief in aliens. They released their results just before the next widely anticipated Star Wars installment. How do biblical truths and scientific facts impact humanity’s concept of aliens from outer space? Reuters news summarized some of the survey results.1 Sixty-one percent of 26,000 respondents said “yes” when asked if they believe in “some form of life on other planets.” That lifeform could mean bacteria or something more intelligent. Forty-seven percent believe “in the existence of intelligent alien civilizations” out there somewhere. We apparently live in alien-crazed societies. Where
