Jesus tells us to quit seeking after what to wear and what to eat like the unbelievers do but to seek the kingdom of God first and if we do that He will provide the things we need.

  Jesus says that to be a disciple of His you must take up your cross and follow Him and not to be ashamed of Him or His words in an evil and adulterous generation.
