Children learning to recognize red and blue and differentiate between green and yellow is a classic part of preschool. But few children in the past can claim they were taught their colors using “Progress Pride Flag Rainbow Families Flash Cards”—but, sadly, preschoolers in a North Carolina school now can.

The cover for the LGBT-themed flash cards featured the updated rainbow flag (the flag that includes white, blue, pink, brown, and black) and a description of what each color supposedly stands for.
