“Whether this becomes law or not we’ll have to wait and see but you can’t miss the dangerous path the insane Dems want to take us down. The only real terrorists I’ve seen are the ones who have been running riot in many cities battling police and burning stores. Former U.S. Rep Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic presidential candidate from Hawaii, is raising concerns about proposed legislation introduced in the House to curb domestic terrorism. She warns that the ambiguity of the measure could be used to undercut civil liberties.
Gabbard’s concern lies in how politicians define the “characteristics” that will determine potential threats, saying the proposed legislation poses “a very dangerous undermining of our civil liberties, our freedoms in our Constitution, and a targeting of almost half of the country.”
The Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2021 was introduced in the House last week in the aftermath of the mostly peaceful protest at the US Capitol on January 6.
