“Please remember to pray for persecuted Christians daily.” Admin
This year for the International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians on Sunday, November 7, Open Doors went to Egypt to hear how God has worked in the lives of our brothers and sisters there who have experienced intense persecution for their faith. We talked to Christians like Nancy*—and recorded their stories.
Nancy lost her husband and a son when ISIS militants attacked their bus as they were returning home from a visit to a monastery in Minya. Nancy shared her story of unimaginable suffering and even more powerful faith.
“The trial was meant to weaken us, but no, it’s made us stronger,” she shares.
As you’ll see in this video, God is still strengthening His people today in Egypt, even as the country ranks No. 16 on Open Doors’ World Watch List of the most dangerous places for Christians.
