Some claim science has “killed” God. Yet science is not objective but is very much worldview-driven. Worldviews reflect our most basic presuppositions about reality. The defense of naturalism & post-modernity are ultimately self-refuting. Christianity, on the other hand, gives coherence, meaning, purpose & hope. He has a Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of British Columbia, and is the former Professor of Mathematics and Chair of the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Trinity Western University, Langley, BC. John was born in The Hague, Netherlands, in 1949 and is now a Canadian citizen, is married and has six children and four grandchildren. He is an elder in the Canadian Reformed Church.
