We’ve had many people come to the Creation Museum to celebrate significant occasions, such as anniversaries, weddings, and birthdays. Recently, a seven-year-old girl named Anna decided she wanted to celebrate her birthday at the Creation Museum. I thought I would share her father’s January email to us because it’s a testimony to the impact we are having as we strive to share the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Dr. Troy Shoemaker, the new president of Pensacola Christian College of Florida, and his wife Denise, recently visited our Creation Museum, and it was for the first time. He spoke to our staff while I was wrapping up a speaking engagement in Chicago, but I returned to AiG the next morning to spend some time with the Shoemakers. Several staff—including on the creative side of the museum team and the future Ark Encounter—attended Pensacola Christian College, and Dr. Shoemaker enjoyed getting to meet with many of them. Here is a photo of Dr. Shoemaker and his wife Denise—with museum operations [More]
Enjoying the “Sights & Sounds” of the Museum on a Father-Daughter Getaway If you have ever attended one of the wonderful, Bible-based musical dramas put on by Sight & Sound productions in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, or Branson, Missouri, you have been treated to one of the finest Christian productions in the world. Ever wonder who the creative person is behind these excellent Bible-honoring musicals? Well, it’s Josh Enck, and we were honored to host him and his daughter Faith for a tour of our Creation Museum recently during their father-daughter outing. Here is a photo of them with me in my [More]
We’re conducting our own “spring cleaning” inside our huge AiG warehouse in northern Kentucky, and we hope you will “spring” into action to take advantage of some wonderful sales on books, videos, and other items at the Creation Museum on April 4–6. In addition to selling overstocked items, we also will have on sale some slightly worn or damaged resources—this clearance includes books, DVDs, curriculum, and even some clothing. Please note that while we would also love to have you tour the Creation Museum on those days of April 4–6 (Thursday through Saturday), our large selection of materials will be [More]
Yes, I believe America is under judgment. Romans chapter 1 is being played out right before our eyes. And whose fault is it? I claim it is largely the fault of the church, including even many conservative, evangelical pastors who have compromised by adding the ideas of millions of years, evolution, or both to the Bible—or who say it doesn’t matter (even though they may preach the gospel powerfully). Recently at a conference at the Creation Museum, I gave a presentation in regard to this topic of compromise in the American church. I wrote a short lead article for our [More]

The Creation Museum began a new billboard campaign last year using dinosaurs to promote the museum. Of course, many secularists were outraged by the billboards, claiming that we only use dinosaurs to attract children. And really, that’s one of the reasons why we used them—dinosaurs are appealing to people of all ages, and the Creation Museum teaches visitors the truth about dinosaurs and man. (You can read more about this billboard controversy in my blog post titled Do Atheists Own the Dinosaurs?) Just to refresh your memory, here are a few of the twenty different billboards that have been Source: [More]

I recently learned that the Verbum Domini Bible manuscript exhibit inside our Creation Museum—which is a part of the Green Collection that will be on display in Washington DC in the future Museum of the Bible—will be featured tonight in a segment on the nationally syndicated program The List. The show’s website describes the program as “a television news magazine that finds the intersection between the news of the day and pop culture … founded around something we all use to stay on track – lists – to look at daily consumer issues and the hottest news trends.” This [More]
By Ken Ham It’s time to share one of the many positive testimonies we receive on a regular basis. AiG speaker and writer Dr. Tommy Mitchell shares with us today: Several months ago, I met a wonderful couple at a conference in Mississippi. They told me that their wedding anniversary was coming up soon and they were considering a visit to our Creation Museum as part of their anniversary celebration. I told them that if they decided to come, I would be happy to be their host and provide them with passes to the museum. As it happens, they did [More]
By Ken Ham Secularists try to make out that creationists can’t be real scientists! Not only does AiG employ a number of highly qualified scientists with PhD degrees in many fields, but works with many other scientists outside of AiG. Here is just one of many such examples. Our long-time ministry friend Dr. Stewart Turner—he has a PhD in aeronautical engineering from the University of Arizona—comes by from time to time to visit us and walk through the Creation Museum. As a museum member, Dr. Turner is always interested to see what’s new at the museum. On a recent visit, [More]
