On Monday, Rep. Jim Jordan from Ohio wrote a; letter to Chris Wray, director of the FBI. Jordan said a whistleblower had come forward regarding the widespread Jan 6 arrests around the country. According to the whistleblower, the FBI’s Washington field office instructed local FBI offices to open up cases on their books related to the Capitol breach to manipulate instances pertaining to the Jan 6. As a result, the FBI is helping create “an illusion” that domestic violent extremism (DVE) is a widespread problem throughout the country.
