In perhaps the best interview Matt Drudge has done in years, the reclusive founder of the Drudge Report appeared on the Alex Jones Show where he revealed his belief that independent media on the internet will soon be a target of government regulation.

Warning that the very foundation of the free internet is under severe threat, Drudge detailed a conversation he had with a Supreme Court Justice about coming copyright legislation that should send shock-waves throughout the independent media.

“I had a Supreme Court Justice tell me it’s over for me,” Drudge told Jones. They’ve got the votes now to enforce copyright law, you’re out of there. They’re going to make it so you can’t even use headlines.”

 

Drudge added, “To have a Supreme Court Justice say to me it’s over, they’ve got the votes, which means time is limited.”
