The American chicken sandwich chain Chick-Fil-A recently announced it was expanding into Canada, with its first location opening in Canada’s largest city, Toronto. But the news quickly sparked outrage from some of the Canadian LGBT community. Why? Not because the chicken isn’t delicious but because the CEO believes in biblical marriage.

Canadians on Twitter were referring to Chick-Fil-A (or should the Canadian branch be Chick-Fil-eh?) as “homophobic” and a “bigoted and discriminatory business” promoting “hatred.” But who is really being bigoted, discriminatory, and filled with hate?
