By Ken Ham In just a few weeks, middle and high school students from across America will arrive at the Ark Encounter (south of Cincinnati) for our annual Creation College Expo, November 5–7, 2020. We’re excited for these young people to meet with representatives from Christian colleges that actually take a stand on a literal Genesis and to hear from several Answers in Genesis speakers, including Dr. Georgia Purdom, Bodie Hodge, Dr. Jennifer Rivera, and me. So many Christian colleges are damaging young people’s faith by encouraging them to doubt God’s Word and reinterpret God’s clear Word in light of [More]

By Ken Ham “[If a] child decides . . . ‘I want to be transgender.’ . . . there should be zero discrimination.” Who said that? Well, former Vice President and 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden did, during a voter town hall event. His words come at the same time a major trial is taking place in the United Kingdom around that very question: can and should children be allowed to make life-altering decisions based on their feelings about their gender? Two women—a 23-year-old, Kiera Bell, who identified as transgender as a teenager and took puberty-blockers, cross-sex hormones, and received [More]

By Michael Flannery On this ID the Future, science historian Michael Flannery continues discussing his newly updated Intelligent Evolution: How Alfred Russel Wallace’s World of Life Challenged Darwin. Wallace was co-founder with Charles Darwin of the theory of evolution by random variation and natural selection, but unlike Darwin he saw teleology or purpose as essential to life’s history, and a teleological view as essential to the life sciences. According to Flannery, Wallace’s views on the nature of the cell, the special attributes of humans, the irreducible nature of life, and the fine tuning of the universe hold up well today. [More]
Chances are, you have been told by your dermatologist to “stay out of the sun and take a vitamin D supplement every day.” But sunlight and vitamin D are not the same thing. I am a great fan of sunlight exposure, to both the skin and the eyes. We have been brainwashed into believing that the sun is toxic, whereas, in fact, it is life-giving. People who live in places with little sun have statistically higher risk of many chronic conditions, such as multiple sclerosis, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, autism, Alzheimer’s disease, and age-related macular degeneration. Sunlight exposure protects from many [More]

By Ken Ham We’re excited to announce that our 2021 Answers Vacation Bible School (VBS) is now available for preorder—Mystery Island: Tracking Down the One True God. We released this VBS as our 2020 VBS and many churches planned on using it, but the Lord had other plans (Proverbs 16:9). Since so many churches were unable to host VBS (or did a virtual program, like our free VBS, IncrediWorld) because of COVID restrictions, we’ve stocked back up and are re-releasing this exciting VBS program for summer 2021. And it’s now available to order (and on sale!). In our very secular [More]

By Sara Tipton With a worldwide health crisis circulating the globe, it’s important to remember and put thought into what today is. Today is the day we focus on better ways to take care of Earth. Because let’s be honest, we haven’t done enough to care for this precious planet we call home. The way we live directly impacts our environment and, let’s be honest, humans are very wasteful in regards to using up precious resources. The health crisis, which quickly became an economic crisis, and will soon morph into a food crisis shouldn’t stop us from doing the right [More]
[But concern may be in order] I suppose most people believe the trials on vaccines for COVID19 will be looking to demonstrate that they reduce the risk of infection, death, or serious illness – or suchlike. Also, you may have heard that several vaccines could be ready for use early next year 2021. Maybe even later this year. As Dilbert may retort: Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! Oh, let me pause and wipe away my tears of mirth. Really. Think about it. Then think a bit more… AstraZeneca (AZ) is thought to be leading the pack with their vaccine AZD1222. Their major clinical trial [More]

Today, we’ll focus our attention on one common supplement. But, other tips will be provided at the end of this article. By Lori Alton, staff writer (NaturalHealth365) Our skin – the largest organ in the body – is the first line of defense against injury, pathogens, toxins, air pollution, and overexposure to cold, heat and sun. As such, it’s first in line to “take a hit” from these everyday threats – and to respond to these stressors with wrinkles, age spots, dryness, redness or pimples. Clearly, our hard-working epidermis deserves the best protection we can give it. Fortunately, an arsenal of herbs and supplements for natural skin care is standing by – ready to protect, nourish, moisturize, and cleanse. Whether you [More]

By Ken Ham Abortion is the killing of an unborn child in his or her mother’s womb. There’s really no other honest way of describing it. Actually, there is another word for it—murder. So-called “pro-choice” activists (really, “pro-murder” activists) use terms like “reproductive freedom,” “health care,” or “a woman’s right to choose” to try and make abortion sound like anything but what it is—the intentional murder of an unborn child. Now, is the Bible ambiguous on something as heinous as murdering a helpless child? Well, , available from our online store.) We need generations who love God and his Word [More]
Johnson & Johnson has agreed to pay more than $100 million to resolve over 1,000 lawsuits blaming its baby powder for causing cancer, in the first set of major settlements in four years of litigation, people with knowledge of the pacts said. The accords, struck with several law firms, signal that the world’s largest maker of health care products is trying to get ahead of the burgeoning litigation, with some 20,000 lawsuits still pending, according to securities filings. They mark the first time Johnson & Johnson has settled the bulk of a plaintiffs lawyer’s cases in the baby powder suits, [More]

The controversy over whether mercury overexposure can trigger autism is a long-standing one. A new meta-analysis of previous studies sheds much needed light on the matter, concluding there’s a “significant relationship” between the two. The review,1,2 published in the September 2020 issue of Pediatric Health, Medicine and Therapeutics, looked at 18 studies conducted between 1982 and 2019 that examined the relationship between concentrations of copper, lead or mercury in blood, plasma, hair or nails and the prevalence of autism. While no relationship was found between autism and copper concentrations, a high degree of correlation was found for mercury and lead. [More]

By Lori Alton, staff writer (NaturalHealth365) Chronic lower back pain, defined as pain that persists for three or more months, is the number one reason for doctor visits and hospitalization in the United States and the second leading cause of disability. Making matters worse, this condition is often accompanied by sleep disturbances, fatigue and depression. Of course, Western medicine attempts to treat low back pain with pharmaceutical drugs, but these can be addictive and feature toxic side effects. Fortunately, a relatively new study from University of Michigan shows that an ancient therapy from Traditional Chinese Medicine technique may hold the [More]
Scientists have found tiny air pollution particles in the brains of young people, which they say may cause damage to cells in a similar way to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. The brains of 186 deceased young people, including small children, from Mexico City were dissected as part of the study, which was published in Environmental Research journal. Tiny air pollution particles were discovered in the brain stems of each of the studied individuals, with the researchers warning that they can affect molecules much like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. The evidence of pollution was located in the substantia nigra – an area [More]

By Ken Ham What’s the most loving gift you can give your first child? Well, according to billboards in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, that gift would be to “not have another [baby].” This billboard is one of several scattered throughout Vancouver promoting going “childfree” or only having a single baby. These anti-biblical billboards are sponsored by the group One Planet, One Child. This group is trying to “hasten progress toward a small family norm, leading to a sustainable world population.” Their stated goal is to “educate that overpopulation is a root cause of resource depletion, species extinction, poverty, and climate [More]
