Adult obesity rates increased in six U.S. states and fell in none last year, and in more states than ever — 20 — at least 30 percent of adults are obese, according to an analysis released on Thursday. The conclusions were reported by the Trust for America’s Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and were based on federal government data. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported Thursday that obesity rates ranged from 21.3 percent in Colorado to a high of 35.1 percent in Mississippi and West Virginia. “Video interview with John Casey about his new book Dark Winter dealing with the coming global cooling.” Admin A planet fixated on global warming is not prepared for the real climate crisis that’s already here — a pronounced cold spell that could last another 30 years and cause damage to the world’s crops, a private researcher and space policy that expert told Newsmax TV on Friday. John L. Casey, president of the Space and Science Research Corporation, joined “MidPoint” host Ed Berliner to discuss the conclusions laid out in his new book, “Dark Winter: How The Sun Is Causing a

“Far removed from the schools I attended as a kid. But it’s an excellent way of intimidating kids to be fearful of police in our increasingly militarized society.” Admin Law enforcement units policing public schools in Texas have acquired tons of used military gear, including M16 rifles, armored vehicles and scores of “high capacity magazines,” all in alleged efforts to keep students safe. Citing the shootings at Columbine and Sandy Hook as pretexts for the need to militarize school police, an investigation launched by CBS affiliate KHOU recently found that cops in at least 10 different Texas school districts are seemingly

“It’s hard to believe such a dimwit is actually Sec. of State. But since they have no real scientific data to back up their claims of “global warming” they have to resort to absurdities like this … pathetic.” Admin I’m not sure what is the most disturbing part here, is it Kerry quoting scripture, Kerry protecting Muslims, or Kerry on global warming? Check it out: Wednesday at a ceremony to appoint Texas lawyer Shaarik Zafar to be special representative to Muslim communities, Secretary of State John Kerry said it was the United States’ Biblical “responsibility” to “confront climate change,” including to

“Thanks to Mr. O these kids are being spread out all over the country. As the article notes at the end, this operation has all the earmarks of being a part of a Cloward-Piven strategy to destabilize and bankrupt the country.” Admin Three months ago, people like Dr. Jane Orient, myself and anonymous Border Patrol agents began to call for quarantine, for the purpose of health screening all immigrants. Many people laughed and said there was no real threat. The invasion of our country, the very invasion that people said was not real, has just endangered the entire country. We are sitting

By Ken Ham Creation Museum member Bob Worstell shared something interesting with us recently. About 55 years ago, he subscribed to the magazine Popular Science but soon stopped. A few weeks ago, Bob thought he would subscribe again to Popular Science, and he received a trial issue. The first copy he got in the mail, 55 years later, was one with Bill Nye “the Science Guy” on the cover. In a long—and sometimes combative—article (note the cover’s depiction), Nye discussed his debate with me last February. The debate became something of a national event, with a conservatively estimated 15 million

Click here to listen. On this episode of ID the Future, Casey Luskin addresses the question: Is intelligent design science? While the precise definition of “science” has long been debated, most would agree that there are certain qualities that clearly define some ideas as science. Luskin examines the theory of intelligent design by this criteria, showing how ID uses the scientific method, undergoes peer review, and does not require non-natural causes.

Secular scientists claimed in the 1970s that chimp genomes are 98% similar to humans, and it was apparently verified by more modern techniques. But that estimate actually used isolated segments of DNA that we already share with chimps—not the whole genomes. Links tweeted by WikiLeaks this week called attention to the development of crowd control doctrines by the US military, the most recent of which are codified in a US Army Techniques document dated April 2014, titled “Civil Disturbances.” Main concepts elaborated in the document include crowd dynamics, behavior theories, crowd types, and a “Graduated Response Matrix.” The document points to various dissident political groups as main targets of the Army’s crowd control planning. “Examples of well-organized groups are anarchists, antiglobalization groups, and anti free enterprise groups,” the US Army document states. The paper further cites demonstrations coordinated by labor groups,
