Both before and after the Flood, the Bible attests that centuries-long life spans were normal. Skeptics scoff at these great ages, and even some Christians say we simply cannot take them at face value.1 Is there evidence for this extreme longevity?   Read More: Living to 900? | The Institute for Creation Research
Beavers shouldn’t talk to humans. That obvious fact was highlighted in the movie adaptation of C. S. Lewis’ classic fantasy The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.1 Fairly early in the film, the four Pevensie siblings meet a beaver that talks to them. Oldest brother Peter says the beaver claims to know a certain faun. Oldest sister Susan replies, “He’s a beaver! He shouldn’t be saying anything!”   If something doesn’t make sense—like a talking beaver—that might indicate that a story is just fiction. And when the tale told is an evolutionary story, it doesn’t make sense because it’s just science fiction. [More]

In a previous article, I explained how epigenetic mechanisms regulate the structure and function of DNA.1 Specifically, I showed how small molecules can be attached to the DNA itself or added to the histone proteins that the DNA is packaged with. These are known as DNA methylation or histone modifications, respectively. The modifications are monitored and performed dynamically according to the needs of the cell and adaptively in response to environmental changes. Furthermore, these epigenetic modifications can be heritable to give the organism’s offspring an adaptive advantage.   Read More: Small Heritable RNAs Pack a Big Adaptive Punch | The Institute for [More]

Can the creation message be used as an apologetic tool? Or is it an unimportant piece of the Bible in the grand scheme of things? Does it have value when it comes to the Gospel?   Hosts Trey and Lauren are joined by Dr. Mark Stengler Sr. and Mark Stengler Jr. to discuss these questions and more in episode 20 of Creation.Live.   Watch: Using Creation in Apologetics | Creation.Live Podcast: Episode 20 | The Institute for Creation Research

DNA sequencing technologies have been progressing rapidly over the past several decades and now finally afford the opportunity to analyze mammalian chromosomes from end to end. In the past, many regions of human and ape genomes have been very difficult to fully decipher because older DNA sequencing technologies were limited to obtaining very short snippets of DNA—impairing their utility to fully decode long, complex, and repetitive DN... More...

Analysis by Dr. Joseph Mercola STORY AT-A-GLANCE Per- and polyfluoroalkyl chemicals (PFAS) may promote cancer metastasis, according to a study by researchers at the Yale School of Public Health Researchers immersed two types of colorectal cancer cells in a PFAS solution for up to seven days; metabolic changes signaling cancer metastasis were observed, along with increased cell motility Not only was the cells’ migration ability boosted, but they had a tendency to spread and penetrate membranes PFAS may lead to altered gene expression and epigenetic changes that in turn cause inflammation, endocrine disruption and changes in metabolism and cell signaling that [More]
Analysis by Dr. Joseph Mercola STORY AT-A-GLANCE While I do not recommend relying on supplements for your daily nutrition, depending on your state of health, there may be instances where you need one or more supplements to address a nutritional deficiency or ailment Ten of the most popular nutritional supplements include ashwagandha, berberine, B vitamins, including B12, collagen, creatine, omega-3, magnesium, vitamin D and NAD+ precursors such as niacinamide Some nutritional deficiencies are so widespread, thanks to soil depletion and reliance on processed foods, that just about everyone can benefit from supplementation. This is the case for magnesium and B vitamins [More]

Executive summary My interview with former Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa nurse Gail Macrae is the single most devastating interview I’ve done since I first started speaking out against the COVID vaccine in May 2021. Key points of the interview include: Hospitals were actually empty when the press told us they were full. 90% or more of the COVID deaths were actually caused by the treatment protocols dictated from above, not the virus. There were both early treatments as well as inpatient treatments available that reduced the COVID death rate by over 90%. The COVID vaccines increased all-cause mortality in hospitals by [More]
