In August, an anti-AiG letter to the editor appeared in the Lexington Herald-Leader, one of the largest newspapers in Kentucky. This paper frequently prints misinformation and outright lies about Answers in Genesis, the Creation Museum, and the Ark Encounter, which opened last year. For example, the paper claimed in an editorial on December 11, 2014, that we were building the Ark with “government handouts” from the state of Kentucky.

Almost immediately an AiG supporter, who lives just north of our Ark Encounter, fired off his own letter to the editor to refute the claims by the writer, Mr. Daniel …read more
