 North Carolina Gov. Josh Stein dropped a jaw-dropping proclamation declaring February 17 through March 19, 2026, as Ramadan in the Tar Heel State.

The official wording is crystal clear and deeply troubling: “Now, Therefore, I, Josh Stein, Governor of the State of North Carolina, do hereby proclaim February 17 – March 19, 2026, as ‘Ramadan’ in North Carolina, and commend its observance to all residents.”

This isn’t some nod to a minority community.

The proclamation’s language urges non-Muslims to observe Ramadan, a full month of religious fasting and Quran study straight out of Sharia law.

This isn’t harmless cultural recognition.

It’s the state of North Carolina officially pushing participation in a foreign religious obligation complete with strict rules and brutal punishments.
